SIPPS Mothers' Forum

SIPPS Mothers' Forum is a maternal and child support program that provides resources to mothers throughout the state of Mississippi. While the primary focus is promoting and supporting breastfeeding, the program also offers education and resources related to maternal health, infant care, nutrition, and overall wellness.

Through a supportive and engaging environment, SIPPS Mothers’ Forum connects mothers with valuable tools, information, and community-based resources to encourage healthy outcomes for both mother and child. The program also fosters peer support and empowers mothers with the knowledge and confidence needed to make informed decisions for their families.

The Individual Development Account (IDA) program was originally established as a component of SIPPS and has since grown into a separate, expanded initiative. Today, it continues to support families by helping participants build financial stability through matched savings and financial education.

Some of the services we provide include:

  • Maternal and Infant Health Education – Providing essential information and support to promote healthy pregnancies, safe childbirth, and infant care practices.
  • Free Baby Resource Closet – Offering access to essential baby items such as clothing, diapers, wipes, and other necessities to support families in need.
  • Free quarterly webinars - These webinars are held during the months of January, May, August, and October.
